Barron River Rafting - Foaming Fury
The Barron River half day tour is a fantastic introduction to White Water Rafting. It's fun, exciting and exhilarating for all the family. Let the guides entertain you on this spectacular river.

Approximately 2 hours of rafting Grade 3 rapids

Barron Gorge National Park

All rafting equipment and life vests supplied

Rafts carry up to 7 passengers plus River Guide

All tuition (no experience necessary)

Accommodation transfers from Cairns, Northern Beach & Port Douglas (except for self-drive)

National parks fees
Departs daily:

Only 20 minutes from Cairns & Northern Beaches & just 40 minutes from Port Douglas
- Pick up Port Douglas : 1:15pm daily
- Return Port Douglas : 6:30pm
- Pick up Cairns : 2pm daily
- Return Cairns : 5:45pm
- For a self-drive, meet the group at the Lake Placid Car Park at 2:30pm.

Minimum age for Rafting is 12 years.

Every participant must sign a Liability Release Form prior to commencing rafting and some packages.

Medical Conditions: some medical conditions, disabilities and impairments may exclude participants from rafting for safety reasons, e.g. pregnancy and serious vision impairments. Passengers should disclose any medical condition, disabilities and impairments at time of booking

The rafting was great fun,
The rafting was great fun, and the guides excellent. The only disappointment was the lack of water in the river, and thus the guides having to lift the raft over the rocks on a number of occasions when we were stuck. They even pointed out the the river was well below the normal water line level that day.

Loads of fun
I did a half day rafting ,it was loads of fun. I had not done it in nearly 30 years.Our guide Daniel was very professional, as were the rest of the crew.Anyone thinking of doing this, should do it with Foaming Fury.

Lots of fun on Barron River
We had a fun afternoon of rafting in perfect conditions. The guides were very professional and thorough in their instructions, but lots of fun as well. Roddy & Dan were standouts! The only downside was the time spent waiting around between rapids, but all in all a good time.

How long wil it take to get my tickets?
Our team are alerted to new booking requests as they come in. During office hours you can expect to have your tickets within an hour or two.
After office hours your tickets may take up to 12 hours to arrive.
