EVOLUTION - OUTER BARRIER REEF TRIP:
Evolution offers the ultimate passenger experience with the class and style of a motor yacht.
This ultra-spacious and comfortable vessel features seating and decks over 3 levels. Large well glazed interior spaces on the main and upper deck include a mix of booth configuration seating. The upper deck also has a VIP room for 10. Enjoy oversized outdoor decks in the sunshine with sun-lounges. A choice of outdoor seating areas fitted with comfortable lounges and well protected from the sun.
Fold-down platforms encircle the aft end of the vessel providing ample comfortable and safe access to the water.
Evolution is quick, taking only 80 minutes to get to the Outer Reef. With less travel time, you?ll spend more time at the Reef!
Evolution travels to two different reef destinations. Norman & Saxon in the morning and Hastings Reef in the afternoon. There are no islands and no pontoons. The Outer Reef is spectacular!
Reef sites are chosen on the day to ensure the best protection and underwater visibility according to weather conditions. Expect to see spectacular coral formations and masses of brilliantly coloured fish.

- 7.30am Check-in at Reef Fleet Terminal, commence boarding
- 8.15am Departs daily
- 9:30am Approximate arrive Norman OR Saxon Reef
- 3 hours to play, Snorkel Tour, sunbathe & relax, Aussie BBQ Lunch is served
- 12: 20pm Depart for Hastings Reef
- 12:30pm Arrive Hastings Reef
- 2 hours to play, Snorkel, 10 minute Scenic Helicopter flight

Departures:
- Check-in at the Reef Fleet Terminal Cairns, from 07:30am at the Down Under Cruise & Dive counter
- Boarding commences at 08:00am for an 08:20am departure
- This trip returns to Cairns at approx 4:45pm.
- Hotel Transfers are not included but can be booked for an additional fee

**Important information you need to know**
- Be aware snorkelling & diving may be a strenuous activity - All snorkelling & diving are subject to completion of on-board medical questionnaire /declaration.
- A history of asthma, diabetes, ear, epilepsy, heart, pregnancy, recent operations and other medical conditions and medications may preclude a passenger from diving. Please discuss existing medical conditions with staff prior to travel. Or if in doubt, please visit your local dive doctor to get a medical clearance.
- Diving minimum age is 12 years and maximum age is 65 years
- Certified divers must show an internationally recognised scuba card.
- In the interests of safety we recommend no flying within 24hours of last dive.
- All trips/dives are weather permitting at captains/drivers discretion- No refund for incomplete dives.
- Should a trip be cancelled passengers will be offered an alternative day of travel or a full refund
- Semi sub will operate subject to weather conditions.

Multi-lingual staff members: Evolution does have Chinese crew members on this vessel year round. Please request this option when booking so that we can make sure the staff member is working on your day of travel.

Cannot speak more highly about this trip. Absolutely brilliant from satrt to finish. Very knowledgeable lady gave running commentary on the semi sub pointing out all items of interest (unlike the twit on Green Island)Well worth the effort very happy memories - even the reggae Elvis impersonator guy was entertaining

Thoroughly enjoyed our journey to the outer reefs.

Wonderful & Amazing Experience
On June,22, we joined the Down Under "Get high" package reef cruise (5 adults and 1 infant).
All of my family members had a wonderful day and amazing experience that day. The tour was
well-organized and the crew on board were professional and warmhearted as well. The first
wonderful thing was the 2 locations (Norman and hasting reef)chosen were excellent for diving.
That day full sunshine made coral and fishes crystally clear for us.
Hereby I should say all the crew were so nice. Particularly I shall say thanks to these guys.
Our diving instructor Ms.Shan and Mr.Johny, they led us to the reef amazing world. My swimming
ablity was very weak and stubborn like a pig. Miss Shan did a separate diving especially for me
to lead me dive. She made me a wonderful diving at reef. I knew it's extra job for her therefore
I should say extra thanks to her very much.
And the guy who in charge of boat tranfer to helicopter was also very nice. He looked after my
parents and my little boy very well when the ocean was a bit rough. He did an excellent job.
By the way, the singer that day also performed many nice folk songs on the way back from reef.
We like his songs and sense of humor very much. He is nice gentleman with good understanding.
All the guys on ship were so nice and we appreciated their services and management indeed.

Well worth it!
The introductory dive was awesome. The helicopter ride was good too, but we had to share the ride with 2 other people and they took the best seats. The crew was fantastic, lunch was nice and the whole day was awesome. Loved it. Well worth it for $209 pp.

This is my most favorite trip
This is my most favorite trip. The boat is speedy which allows more time spending in the outer reef . Staffs are very helpful. The heli is really worth to try, you will see a differnet view of the reef which is very very very beatuful !!! I paid $229 to enjoy the scube diving, glass bottom boat, helicopter. It is value for money. Recommend to all~~~~

On the whole, I enjoyed it.
The cruise ship is a bit small for 100+ passengers, but most of the staff on board are young, energetic and friendly. The host signer Phil was entertaining and warm. The food is fine, and the fruit in the afternoon is just on time to keep us cool and refreshed.
The trip out to the reef seemed long and boring and some of us were not used to the rough sea and wind, so we felf sick. Perhaps the muffin choked our stomaches, so I would suggest only biscuits would be fine in the morning.
It was fune to go on the sem-submerine. Hope there should be more time for this \\\"dry\\\" activity.
On the whole, I enjoyed it.
