Skydive Cairns is the premier Tandem Skydiving company in Australia. Skydive in tropical paradise with Skydive Cairns and it will become an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. The Cairns drop zone offers warm tropical climate, spectacular views of the Great Barrier Reef and World Heritage Rainforests.

Jumping at a height of up to 15,000ft. Reaching speeds of up to 220km/hr, you will rocket straight down for up to 60 seconds for a heart-stopping, life-changing free-fall! Get ready to open yourself to a whole new meaning of adrenaline.  After your freefall experience, you’ll enjoy 5-6 minutes of spirals and turns under canopy.

Your Jump Includes: 

  • Up to 15,000ft Exhilarating Tandem Skydive, up to 60 second freefall and 5-7 minutes of parachute flying

  • Session times commence from 07:30am, Once this session is full, they will open the next hourly session and so on. 

Optional Extras: 

  • Digital Photos:  30 to 40 mind blowing still images on CD-Rom, taken as digital grabs from your video
  • Handcam DVD:   Your tandem master captures every moment of your skydive with a wide angle lens
  • Handcam DVD & Photo Package:  Handcam DVD and 30 - 40 mind blowing still images, from digital grabs of your video 

Additional Info: 

  • Customers will be required to complete a medical questionnaire on arrival
  • Minimum age 12 years. Under 18 years requires parental consent
  • When Scuba diving before Skydiving, you MUST wait 12 hours if doing an intro dive not more than 10m deep and 18 hours if doing multiple dives.
  • As skydiving is weather dependent, and departs from an international airport, you will need to set aside a HALF DAY  (3 - 3.5 hours) for your skydiving experience.

Weight Restrictions & Charges: 
Maximum Weight in Cairns is 115kg

  • Any client over 95kg must be assessed by a drop zone safety officer on site to determine safety issues due to harness restrictions
  • 95kg and over  - Surcharge of $25 applies
  • 100kg and over - Surcharge of $50 applies
  • 105kg and over - Surcharge of $100 applies

    • What to Bring:
    Comfortable casual clothes, shorts in summer and jeans or tracksuit pants in winter. You may also want to bring a long sleeve t-shirt or sweatshirt. Closed in shoes are a must, sneakers or runners that lace up firmly are preferable (no hooks).

    We love helping people plan their holidays and we want to make sure we get it right.
    Some holiday packages can be quite complicated with multiple tours and accommodation, pick-up times and extras.
    That's why every booking made through a Travstar Website is checked by our local consultants.
    It takes a little bit longer to get your tickets but we want to make sure everything is going to run smoothly for you.

    How long wil it take to get my tickets?
    Our team are alerted to new booking requests as they come in. During office hours you can expect to have your tickets within an hour or two.
    After office hours your tickets may take up to 12 hours to arrive.
